OUR STORY

As a Young boy I Collected All Kinds of Knives.

As I got older and was able to afford buying custom built knives, I started to realize that I wanted to build custom knives for people to enjoy carrying and using a fine hand crafted knife much as I do.

When building the knives I sell, I begin with a design crafted by myself exclusively and I gather the materials needed from sources locally or from suppliers I have trusted for years. In crafting the knives I use a unique stock removal method in preparing each part to be setup as I begin the process of assembling each original knife.

Every JE Roorda knife is crafted at my bench alone; I never hire or contract outside services to complete the knives I design.
